Sam is a 7-year-old GSP with a lil' pit in him, and we are looking to rehome him swiftly. My mom's health has been declining; we recently found out she is in the early stages of Alzheimer's, and we are moving April 14th (everything came up very, very quickly). He really needs a home where he can be taken care of better and to be able to be given more attention. We are in Loganville, Georgia. Now he does come with some...difficulties. He failed training when he took it when my parents got him when he was 2 years old, and it was never attempted again. He tears things up. He bolts outside if he gets the chance. He grabs unattended food. He either hates or loves other dogs. He barks at people and charges when he is on a lead (I think it is a protective thing), but if he is off his lead, he is super friendly. I imagine that when he is able to be given the attention he deserves, his acting out may go down. He can be very sweet, though. He enjoys playing, running, and sometimes forgets he isn't a tiny dog. Also, he may have some sensory issues with seeing, reacting, and smelling.
