Bart is a young dog who is still learning to navigate the world around him. He can be shy with people and needs time and patience to feel comfortable, but once he does, his gentle nature begins to show.Where Bart truly shines is with other dogs. He absolutely adores them, and the difference in his confidence is night and day when he has a canine companion by his side. He would greatly benefit from a home with another dog to help him feel secure and continue building confidence.Bart was previously adopted but returned after struggling when left alone, resulting in damage in the home. He is crate trained and will benefit from continued structure, routine, and support to help him succeed.The shelter environment has been especially stressful for Bart, and he is having a hard time coping in the kennel. He urgently needs a patient, understanding home where he can decompress, feel safe, and continue to grow.
