LUCKY Six weeks ago, Lucky was too scared to even let people look at him without running away And now?Now this sweet little guy knows his name, follows routines with the other dogs, walks right beside his foster mom, and has even started going outside on his own — which is HUGE for him.Every day he’s learning that the world doesn’t have to be so scary. He’s discovered he loves being outside, watching the other dogs, and being close to his person at all times In fact, Lucky has become SO attached to his foster mom that he recently sat outside the bathroom door patiently waiting for her… because he thought she was still inside (Meanwhile she had already left to run errands )Dogs like Lucky remind us that healing doesn’t happen all at once. Sometimes it happens in tiny moments: learning your name following a routine trusting enough to stay close finally feeling safe enough to wait for someone you loveAnd honestly? Watching that transformation is one of the most beautiful parts of rescue Let's give Lucky a safe space to call home. Adoption starts with the application. https://www.russellrescuetn.com/application-for-adoption/Lucky is still decompressing and learning what life in a home looks like. He can be shy with new people and may bark or retreat at.Lucky isn’t a “perfect” dog — he’s a dog who needs a little time, a little patience, and a lot of love. And in return, you get a deeply loyal, gentle companion who will bond closely with his person. If you’re the kind of person who sees the beauty in helping a dog grow and feel safe again… Lucky might be your guy.
