He is crate trained without a peep, has had zero accidents in the house, and rides quietly in his crate during car trips. He walks reasonably well on a leash, aside from occasionally deciding it looks like a fun thing to carry in his mouth. He is learning his name and has a very solid understanding of the word no, which says a lot about how smart this boy is. Hugo is obsessed with water and will make a beeline for any creek or puddle he can find. He loves squeaky toys, romping with his dog housemates, and napping on his back with all four gigantic paws straight up in the air, which is as hilarious as it sounds. He is also in full teething mode, so anything left at puppy level is fair game, and his future family will want to plan accordingly. He is a total blank slate, soaking up everything around him and watching his housemates navigate the world one goofy step at a time.
