Meet PongoPongo is a 1-year-old male Great Dane with a heart as big as his paws! Weighing in at 115 lbs, this handsome boy is the perfect mix of gentle giant and goofy best friend.He’s well-mannered, a quick learner, and truly loves being around his people. Pongo has a fun, silly side that will keep you smiling, but he also knows when it’s time to settle down and relax by your side. While he tries his best to be a lap dog, he’s recently accepted that sitting next to you might be a better fit—though he’ll still lean in for all the love he can get. Pongo is living with kids ages 13 and 16, and we believe he'd be fine with kids 10 and older. He has been ignoring the foster's cats, so we think he'd be fine sharing a home with a feline friends.In just a few short weeks, Pongo has made amazing progress with his training—he’s learned commands like “heel” and “place,” and continues to impress everyone with how eager he is to learn. He’s also been working hard on his leash skills and has improved so much that his foster mom can now comfortably take him on walks!
