Willy is on site at our adoption center in SoHo!Willy, a nine-year-old male weighing a bit over 60 lbs., just arrived and is still getting settled in, so we’re just beginning to learn who they are. Right now, everything is new—new people, new sounds, new routines—and we’re giving them time to relax, decompress, and show us their true personality at their own pace.Here’s what we know so far from his time on an Adventure Buddy Outing: https://acrobat.adobe.com/id/urn:aaid:sc:VA6C2:78de0c53-9e37-4ce2-87e4-412c534e6794His foster says "Our first night with Willy we could already tell he was a cuddly lap dog, he wanted to get on the couch with us and sit right in our laps all night. He was a good walker from the start and has a little happy bounce when he walks that people always compliment. We got to see more of his goofy puppy like personality after 48 hours. He loves people and to give kisses, he learned sit and stay super quickly and is responsive to training. He’s a Velcro dog who will sit on the floor in the kitchen if we’re cooking or lay on the floor in the bathroom if you’re in there. We left the bathroom door open and he joined us for a shower :) He loves running water and playing with his toys. When we go on long walks he likes to end in the park to sunbathe in your lap. Sometimes he’s a slow walker and sometimes he’s full of energy, but by the time the sun sets he is in deep sleep cuddle mode. He’s such a good boy with a puppy playfulness and also an old man couch potato, it’s the perfect mix."One of his dog walkers said he " has an amazing temperament. We spent 5 hours walking, and he stayed by our side the entire time. He doesn’t pull and is very easy to handle. He enjoys playing when in the right environment, is very sweet, and loves being pampered.
