Meet Harlow who's ready to steal your heart-one treat at a time! She already knows her basics like sit, down, and paw, and she takes treats gently like a true lady. She's looking for a calm, home where she can settle in, be loved and have a family to call her own, she has `oodles` of love to give. This sensitive soul does best with thoughtful dog introductions, daily leash walks, and she wouldnt mind a fenced yard to call her own. She is currently in foster care and doing great with the numerous dogs and cat, she is rooming with. Unfortunately what she makes up for in personality, she is somewhat missing in the health department. She has sensitive skin( we suspect allergies), so a hypo or a sensitive skin diet is recommended and occasional baths will help as well. Her hips are not good, we diagnosing her with hip dyplasia. She is not showing any clinical signs of the disease but she will need low impact, moderate exercise and joint supplementation should be started such as, glucosamine and omega fatty acids. Pain management or drugs that help reduce arthritis symptoms would also be needed, since there is not way to reverse the disease, only to minimize and manage it. Harlow is definitely worth the effort and money, that will be required of her new home. She is`love` in dog form.
