Jessica is a petite 2-year-old Siberian Husky mix with a unique look and an even more unforgettable personality. With her adorable swirled coat and compact size, she may have some Inu in her—DNA results are on the way! Unlike a typical husky, Jessica has soft, plush fur without the heavy double coat, so she sheds far less than you might expect.
Rescued from the streets of Modesto, Jessica hasn’t let her past dim her spirit. She’s a sweet, high-energy, and delightfully silly young girl who brings joy wherever she goes. Quick and agile, she loves to bounce around, explore, and make the most of every adventure.
Jessica absolutely adores people and thrives on connection. After spending a couple of months in a shelter, she’s developed a bit of separation anxiety and will happily follow her foster mom from room to room. She just wants to be near her person—but she’s also learning to enjoy playtime with her foster dog friends and is gaining confidence every day.
On leash, Jessica starts out with a burst of excitement (those first few minutes are all zoomies and enthusiasm!), then settles into a nice, manageable walk. She loves outings, new experiences, and meeting people.
She’s a smart girl, but like many husky-type breeds, she has a touch of independence and stubbornness. Consistent, positive training will be key—but the good news is she truly wants to please her humans, and that bond is your greatest training tool.
Jessica would do best in an active home that can match her energy, provide structure, and give her the love and reassurance she craves. In return, you’ll get a loyal, entertaining, and deeply devoted companion.
