My name is Marli! I am four years old, but I act more like a one or two year-old dog- I have loads of energy and love to walk for miles! Fetch is one of my favorite activities, and after I’m nice and worn out, I will cuddle up to you on the couch. I attach very strongly to my people but am friendly with new humans too. I get along great with other dogs! I’m in a foster home with cats and used to be pretty excited to chase them, but I have learned that that’s not really that fun so I get along with cats now. My ideal home would be a home with lots of activity, walks and playtime! I would love to find a young dog to live with so I can wrestle with him/her! I need a home where someone is home most of the time and will not leave me more than 4 hours and a home with no children. My new home needs a fenced yard. I am not suited for an apartment, condo or townhome. I am working on my leash manners, but have a way to go and I do have a tendency to bolt out doors if given the opportunity so I do need a home who will provide me with lots of structure and potentially work with a trainer to help me with my bolting and leash manners.
