This well-loved, big-hearted gentleman has earned a special place with volunteers thanks to his calm nature and sweet personality. Beautiful leash manners: Despite his impressive size, Polar Bear walks with amazing leash manners, making him a wonderful walking companion. Joyful spirit: When he sees the leash come out, he celebrates with an adorable happy-feet dance and head bob, clearly excited for his outing. Growing confidence: Polar Bear has gradually overcome some of his shyness, offering more loving eye contact and sometimes gently nudging your hand to ask for pets. Gentle treat taker: He accepts politely and seems to have refined taste—chicken sausage and meatballs are particular favorites.
