Hi! I’m Slate…but my friends call me Wigglebutt! I’m an 8-month-old, 65-pound bundle of goofy energy who’s still very much a puppy at heart. I love snuggles, naps, walks, car rides…basically anything with my people! Skills I’ve mastered so far: sit, lay down, go to my place, wait for my food, and I’m potty & crate trained. Things I’m still learning: Greeting people calmly (I get so excited!) Sharing toys with other dogs (hey, I’m working on it!) Being patient when my humans leave — I’m building confidence every day I get along with other dogs and even live with a cat (I just get extra excited sometimes). I haven’t met kids yet, so slow intros and supervision are best. What I really want: A family who loves snuggles as much as I do, enjoys playtime and naps, and is ready for a loyal, wiggly, goofy best friend who gives 100% love.
