This gorgeous senior gentleman came to us from a local shelter after he was surrendered by a family who was leaving the country. He's around 14, has lived his entire life with the family, and is understandably shaken by his change in circumstances. Mr. Trussy is a gentle, tiny, sweet old man with lots of love to give. He runs around, cuddles, seeks affection and play interaction. He's functionally blind and nearly deaf but those things don’t bother him at all. He navigates the yard and deck stairs as long as there is light outside. Anyone who adopts Mr Trussy needs to understand that he is a senior dog with health issues – he has a heart murmur, severe dental disease and he's currently being treated for ear infections. We don't know how much time he has, and certainly can't guarantee his health going forward, but we believe he is as deserving of a loving home as any young healthy puppy is! He's looking for someone who will love and accept him in his golden years.
