LIZZIE is an lively, playful girl looking for love. She's a stunning mixed breed sweetheart who loves to play and meet new people. Lizzie appears to be part sight hound, maybe Whippet? Part Beagle? Maybe a little border collie? And heaven only knows what other breeds are in the mix. She's a leggy, high-waisted girl, fully grown at 37 pounds. Meal time and treat time are two of her favorite times. She loves loves loves playtime with other dogs and is best suited to a home with another active playful dog her size or larger. She's fine with cats as long as she has a doggie playmate. She loves kids and is housebroken and crate trained. You can meet Lizzie at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30-1:30 at PetSmart Eastgate. Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
