Gumdrop has turned out to be as sweet as her name. She is so gentle when you approach her. Her big puppy paw comes up like she wants to high five. Gumdrop has the softest fur and she is so gorgeous in person. Her markings are really pretty and make her stand out. She has been a gentle, loving playful girl. When meeting new dogs especially larger ones she is very submissive until she knows they want to play. She is very respectful of new dogs. Gumdrop has gone for walks wearing her harness and is doing well. We will send her harness, collar and leash home with her new family. Gumdrop loves toys! The squeaky ones are her favorite along with the puppy Nylabones. We are working on the housebreaking skill. With more time, patience and love she will conquer it. She is still a puppy and can't wait more then about 4 to 5 hours to go potty. Gumdrop is going to grow into being the most gentle giant of a dog. Great Pyrenees have a calm somewhat playful temperament and make the best extra large companions. Give this girl a chance and get your application in now.
The “G” puppies are a litter of seven sweet sisters, born on December 11, 2025. These girls are Great Pyrenees / Anatolian Shepherd mixes, which means they’re expected to grow into very large dogs with gentle hearts and loyal personalities.
All of the puppies are inside dogs and have been raised with love and care. They are sweet-natured, playful, and affectionate, enjoying both puppy playtime and human attention. True to their guardian-breed roots, they are curious and confident, with a natural tendency to explore.
Because Great Pyrenees and Anatolian Shepherds are known for roaming, we are looking for homes with a secure, fenced yard to keep these sweet girls safe and happy. They will thrive with families who understand large breeds and are committed to providing structure, training, and plenty of love as they grow.
If you’re ready to welcome a loyal, loving companion who will grow into a magnificent dog, one of the “G” puppies may be the perfect fit for your family.
Puppies are NOT housebroken and should not be expected to wait more than 1 hour for each month of age to go out to potty. Please make sure that you have a “potty plan” in place if considering adoption.
All of our puppies have been spay/neuter, wormed, microchipped, and given age appropriate vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting/adopting one of them just fill out a application at www.furrykidsrefuge.org, click on the 'Adopt A Dog' icon and a dedicated volunteer will be in touch.
