​ Billy is a white standard male about 2 years old and weighs around 55 pounds. He was abandoned and most likely abused. Billy is still in the process of feeling secure, so he isn't quite ready for adoption . He is a sweet boy and just wants to be loved. Billy will still run from you if you are standing up, but will come if you are sitting down. It took a month to get him that far. When it is time for adoption, Billy will need a home with at least one active dog to continue to show him people are kind. He is a jumper and can easily clear a four foot fence. Therefore, he will need a 7 foot fence around his back yard. He is a great guard dog as he will bark if anyone comes close to the house. He eats well and sleeps through the night. His future family should be very familiar with the breed and have lots of patience.
