Meet Oscar — The Littlest Man With the Biggest Confidence
Oscar is a tiny Husky mix with a giant personality and a heart that refuses to quit. After surviving unthinkable neglect early in life, he has blossomed into a joyful, social, wildly charming little guy who wins over everyone he meets. His gait is unique — an exaggerated, high‑stepping prance that has become his signature move — but it doesn’t slow him down or dim his spirit. Oscar is resilient, hilarious, affectionate, and absolutely ready for a home of his own. He is an eternal puppy!
Sweet, social, and endlessly lovable
A
big voice in a small body
— he is VERY vocal and not shy about expressing himself
Playful and confident, even with his mobility quirks
Great with other dogs, though he has zero concept of boundaries
A happy, resilient little guy who bonds deeply with his people
Oscar needs a home that understands his quirks, celebrates his spirit, and can keep him safe as he continues to grow and learn.
Best fit for Oscar:
No apartments or shared-wall housing
— he is loud, dramatic, and very proud of it
A playful, patient resident dog
(optional) who won’t mind his constantly “in your face” play style
A yard or safe outdoor space
where he can explore without constant access to things he might try to eat
Adults or families with older kids
— he loves children, but baby toys and tiny objects are too tempting
A home willing to continue his potty-training journey
— he’s made great progress and can now hold it overnight, but he’s still learning
Oscar once survived by scavenging trash, and those instincts run deep.
For his safety, he must be walked using a
gentle leader
or
scavenger muzzle.
This isn’t optional — it’s part of keeping him healthy and safe.
Oscar hasn’t been officially cat-tested, but based on his behavior, we suspect he’d try to play rather than chase.
Oscar's favorite things are
Benebones,
Large Kong ball,
Being near his people,
Playing with other dogs.
He is small, silly, and full of life — a dog who has every reason to be fearful, yet chooses joy every single day. He is truly a 40lb eternal puppy.
