Rello was surrendered to us on 1/26/2026 due to rental property restrictions. He is a lab/husky mix who is still under a year old. He's a happy and friendly young guy who would make a great addition to a family. He has been vet checked, neutered, and microchipped, and his fee is $150. Rello's former owners had cats and young kids, but he will need training to ensure success due to his age and energy level. Exercise is key for a dog like him, especially given his breed mix. He is a larger boy who could be close to fully grown, but this is not certain and he may get even bigger. His former owners were working on house training with him, but he still needs a little bit of work on that. NOTE: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South. We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
