There are a lot of good dogs out there… but I’m just waiting for someone to choose me. Hi, I’m Pacco!
I’m what they call a Kelpie—which means I’m smart, active, and always ready to learn something new. Seriously, I love learning I even walk on the treadmill! I already know cues like back, down, come, up, wait, and shake (pretty impressive, right?). Right now I’m working on heeling nicely on leash, and I’ve recently discovered one of my absolute favorite things ever…
Bike rides.
That’s right—I get to run alongside my foster mom, and let me tell you, it’s the BEST. Wind in my fur, legs moving, brain engaged—I was born for this kind of fun!
When I’m not out being an athlete, I’m also a professional napper. I can nap on laps, chairs, couches… honestly, anywhere comfy will do. Balance is important, after all—zoom hard, nap harder.
I live with my foster sister, Ava, who’s a bit of a wise old lady. I like to play with her, but sometimes I get a little too enthusiastic, and she’ll remind me to tone it down. I’m learning—promise!
I love toys—especially squeaky ones. Chasing them? Amazing. Bringing them back? …still a work in progress. Let’s call it a “selective retrieval system.”
My foster family says I’m a handsome guy (I won’t argue with that), and I’m great with their grandkids too! When the 9- and 10-year-olds come over, I’m all about playtime and cuddles.
I’m also a pretty alert guy—I’ll let you know if someone’s at the door or in the yard. I’m working on greeting visitors a little more politely, but hey, I just get excited to meet new friends!
Oh—and food? LOVE it. Maybe a little too much. I eat pretty fast, so I use a special slow-feeder bowl to help me take it easy.
Right now, I’m having a great time with my foster family… but what I really want is a forever home. A place where I can keep learning, keep playing, keep biking—and most importantly, keep loving my people.
Think you can keep up with me?
