Lola Rose is a beautiful American Foxhound. At 2-years-old, she has long legs and a slim body weighing in at 43lbs and is quite stunning. Lola likes to chew on toys and stretch out on beds and couches but happily sleeps in her crate. She likes to run and play with other dogs but can likely be an “only dog” also. She can be quite silly, stealing your clothes when you’re getting ready for the day. Maybe it’s her way of trying to get you to stay home. Her most favorite thing is to zoom around the back yard and paw at the other dogs to join her so having a fenced yard (even a small one) might be good. Lola is housetrained and knows how to use a doggie door. . Lola is quite shy and scared by sudden sounds. Even after several months in a foster home, she is still not comfortable with the adult men who live there so would probably do best in a home without a full-time male so would be happiest with only female humans. She isn’t mean to men, just keeps her distance and keeps a watchful eye on them. She is now in a female only foster home and she is doing better. Lola is a work in progress but the end result will be worth the effort
