Rupert's story started with heartbreak- he was found by Rockwall Adoptions staff after being dumped over the front gate overnight. Despite that, he has remained incredibly loving, resilient, and eager to trust again. This handsome boy is friendly, expressive, and loves being around people. He's smart, attentive, and eager to learn, making him a wonderful companion for a family willing to continue building his confidence and routine. Rupert has a playful side and enjoys the company of other dogs, especially those who can match his energy. He tends to do best with female dogs or non-dominant companions- he's truly a ladies' man- and a meet and greet is recommended to ensure a good fit. Rupert does not do dominant males of any kind.
