Brought to TBL to find his forever humans in June 2024.Best Home: Athletic family or couple looking for a nicely behaved, active companion.Amazing Qualities: Such a trusting boy!Petrol is another one of the amazing dogs we took in from KSAR in Afghanistan. He is 5 years old and has striking looks, you can clearly see his Afghan Hound roots. He is about 47lbs, has a very sweet nature and a playful disposition.Petrol has been enjoying his life here in San Diego. He spent about a month in short-term foster and did amazing. He is housebroken, dog friendly, has been leash trained and just an overall pleasant companion. He gets along well with other dogs, he might be a little reserved at first, but once he gets to know the other pup he is all in for play time. Petrol is great with people. He is very affectionate and outgoing with he TBL volunteers. He is easily trainable and thrives on positive reinforcement and doesn’t mind getting some treats as well. He would do great with a moderately active household, with or without another dog.
