Sasha came to us as an owner surrender on 10/4/2025 due to rental restrictions. She is a compact and muscular pit bull type dog who is around 3 to 4 years old. Sasha is a nice girl who has had some basic training. She has been vet checked, spayed, and microchipped, and her fee is $150. Sasha will require regular exercise as she is energetic and very strong. We do think she would do okay with a well-mannered MALE dog. She did live with kids, but she would not be a good fit for homes with cats. She enjoys attention and walks. She would prefer a home in which she is not left alone for long hours. She almost resembles a panther with her sleek black coat! NOTE: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 Soouth. We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
