Hello, I'm Kylie. I'm a 4 year old Lab/Cur mix (best guess that is). I came to the shelter with my sister Kendall. We were found as strays and were pretty skinny. Luckily, the shelter got us cleaned up and our bellies full! I'd like to stay with Kendall if I can, but understand adopting two dogs at once can be a lot for some people. If I'm not adopted with Kendall, the shelter recommends me going to a home with another dog companion as I have a little bit of anxiety. I'm a sweet girl but can be shy at first. I do well with other dogs and would be a great addition to your family. I am heartworm positive and in the process of heartworm treatment. I've had my first injection and will need an adopter who can continue my heartworm treatment protocol and take me to my appointments. PCHS will pay for the treatment even after adoption. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual. We will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports to Colorado and Iowa, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veterinarian ($35). For transports to St. Louis, the additional fee is $50 to help cover gas.
