8/1/25 transferred to Paws unite people Meet Coquito. A sweet and shy chihuahua who was rescued from a police-seized hoarding situation. With no human interaction until recently, Coquito has made incredible progress learning to trust. Once the shyest of the bunch, he now jumps into the laps of volunteers he’s bonded with, soaking up affection. Coquito would thrive in a calm home with one or two other well-mannered dogs to help boost his confidence, and with patient, loving humans committed to his continued journey.
