Hello, I'm Mimosa, a sweet and smart lady with a mellow disposition. My friends here say I'm quite the character, with a funny sense of humor that keeps them laughing. I'm friendly and love to cuddle, but I also appreciate my independence. I can entertain myself when you're busy, but I'll always be there to welcome you home with a wagging tail.
I am VERY low maintenance and quiet so I would be perfect for apartment living. I am content to sleep all day and only make noise when I want to eat, go outside, or play a bit. Then it is more of a coo than a bark. I will bark when outside and someone comes into the driveway so I'm an excellent watch-dog, but I really prefer to be inside most of the time.
I'm ok with submissive male dogs but can be reactive to other dogs, so I just need someone who understands what I've been through.
Adopt me, and let's fill our days with laughter, cuddles, and unconditional love. I can be reactive towards other dogs without a slow introduction but I have played with some of my foster's other male dogs.

To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself.
