Hi my name is Hayes, and my favorite things are snacks, snuggles, snacks, being outside (or watching through the window), and SNACKS! I am a 3+ year old chihuahua-terrier mix and weigh in at a whopping 14 pounds. I LOVE FOOD and sometimes get a bit greedy, (wouldn’t you be the same if someone tried to steal your cookie!) so I need someone to be patient with me while I learn to share. I also love walks but do not like when other dogs are nearby, so I need some training and patience on the leash as well. I always go potty outside and am a VERY quick learner. I would love a home with a mom who adores me (will happen faster than you might think) as I don't trust men and sometimes have a hard time with other pets and younger kids. I love to snuggle in bed at night and will be right at your side on the couch as well. I REALLY LOVE car rides and feeling fresh air running through my hair. I do have a lot of toys but really prefer to play with my human. I also do well in the kennel, but I would prefer to be out and showing my love and excitement. I am very expressive and love to hop when waiting for my snacks. I am very excited to meet my forever family and show them all my love! Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, dental, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
