Kassie is a pit mix who has been waiting far too long—over a year and a half in the shelter—for someone to see just how special she is. Despite her long stay, she hasn’t lost her spark. Kassie is full of personality, loyalty, and love, and she’s ready to finally trade kennel life for a forever home where she can truly relax and belong. Kassie will do best in a home with a confident, gentle owner who can provide clear guidance and structure to help her thrive. She’d prefer a home without small dogs, and while she finds cats a little too fun to chase, she makes up for it with her devotion to her people. With the right person in charge—someone patient, kind, and consistent—Kassie will blossom into an incredibly loyal companion and a best friend for life. Kassie is an indoor/outdoor dog. She needs a warm place to call home inside (she can cuddle up next to you) and a fenced yard.
