Meet Nier! DOB: December 2019Weight: 34lbsDisposition: History: Rescued from the streets of Thailand by Soi Dog Foundation.He made his way to The Barking Lot in August 2023.Meet Nier! This handsome guy came to us from Soi Dog in Thailand and is truly one of a kind. Nier just turned 6 years old, weighs about 37 lbs, and is a scruffy Terrier/Shiba Inu mix with tons of charm.Nier is a volunteer favorite thanks to his friendly, affectionate nature and his perfectly balanced energy level — calm but still up for a nice walk or a hike. He’s excellent on leash, already housebroken, and very well mannered, making him an easy companion.While Nier absolutely loves people, he can feel insecure in unfamiliar situations if they move too fast for him. He does best with slow, thoughtful introductions to new environments so he can build confidence at his own pace. With the right support, he shines and shows just how sweet he really is.Nier does well with other dogs and is currently sharing a kennel with Kreia, another Soi Dog, who he enjoys wrestling with. He also does well in larger play groups, but would be just as happy as an only dog. He could thrive in an apartment or a quiet home where he can feel safe and secure.Nier is a loving, affectionate boy who’s ready for a patient adopter willing to help him feel confident and loved.
