Meet Miss Maggie May! Maggie came to KPR after being rescued from an Amish puppy mill. Due to this, Maggie struggles a lot with human connection. She is the cutest girlie and bonds well with other dogs, but she does not like to be touched by her humans. She likes to keep her distance and enjoy a cozy dog bed or the couch a safe distance from her foster. Maggie is great with other dogs! She has not been around cats, so it is unknown how she would respond. She can be skittish around kids and will keep her distance. She is potty trained and no medical needs. Due to her trauma, she is scared of walking on a leash and would need some training and support to do so.
