ADOPT STELLA!
She is someone’s dream dog, we just need to find that person. She is wonderful at home and she absolutely adores people. If you meet her once, she’ll always remember you. She greets guests by showing them her vast toy collection and you can return the greeting with a nice booty scratch. When she first arrived, she struggled with leash reactivity - she was petrified, has undergone heartworm treatment after having 4 puppies - can you blame her? After settling in and learning DC isn’t so bad, she has come so far and enjoys going for walks - turns out the world isn’t so scary.
Stella is not currently attending adoption events so if you would like to meet her for a potential adoption, please email her Coordinator at the email at the very bottom.

More About Stella
Looking for a cheerful companion? Stella is a young, easy going, and eager pup ready to play and go out on long walks with you. She is very social, gets along with other dogs and is friendly with humans. Stella is attentive, confident, and offers plenty of kisses and an adorable gaze. Stella is accepting of crate time when needed and waits to be outside for potty time; to entertain herself, her favorite toy is a squeaky hard plastic shark and chasing a ball out in the backyard.
