Sakari is a beautiful girl with a gentle soul. Sadly we believe she did not always know the better side of humans. She was likely fed and bred at best and otherwise left to fend for herself outdoors. She did not receive medical care or affection with any sort of regularity. Fortunately, Sakari has a clean bill of health. Huskies need lots of exercise and Sakari is no exception.
Sakari will need love and patience and someone familiar with the husky breed. She skirts away from you until she trusts you and at times you may feel like you’re doing a two steps forward, one step back kinda dance. On the flip side, once she knows you she will come to you for pets and belly rubs. She’s a sucker for hot dogs and chicken. She is potty trained and not destructive. When you see her play and show her fun side, you’ll smile from ear to ear. I promise you, if given the chance to figure out a life with love she will thrive. Even more, she’s worth the effort. Sakari does well with other dogs her size, but absolutely no cats.
The adoption fee is $400, which covers food, vetting, microchip and the spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet. All dogs receive a wellness visit and are up to date on shots appropriate for age. Breed and size is Pawfect Match Rescue's best guess and not guaranteed.
